Singapore Fighting Championship will hold “SFC 8: Renegades of Fight” at the Singapore Foochow Association in Singapore on September 28, 2019. There will be amateur and professional bouts in mixed martial arts, Muay Thai and boxing in the 10-bout fight card.

In the eight bout of the evening, “Mr. Fantastique” Muhammad Ashiq, 24,of Singapore will face Selemani Bangaiza, 20, of Tanzania. They will compete in a professional boxing bout in the featherweight division.

A well-experienced boxer, Bangaiza has conquered some uphill battles with strong and hard-to-beat opponents. He started his professional boxing career at the young age of 15 and has had a very impressive record of 15 wins and 6 losses from his debut.

On the other hand, Ashiq is not as experienced as Bangaiza. Training out of Juggernaut Fight Club in Singapore, he made a big impact with his record of 7 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.

Six of Ashiq’s victories are from knockouts. With his signature body shots, the Singaporean boxer looks to hunt down another victory to go a step higher and become a household name in boxing.

It will be an extremely difficult 6-round boxing match for both Ashiq and Bangaiza. But it is bound to be a great fight to watch.

Two World Boxing Council titles on the line with “SFC 8: Renegades of Fight.” In the co-main event, Rey “The Future” Caitom, 33, of the Philippines will face Elias Nggenggo, 30, of Indonesia for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Minimum title in a 10-round contest.

Two World Boxing Council titles on the line with “SFC 8: Renegades of Fight,” the eight event of Singapore Fighting Championship. The combat sports event will take place at the Singapore Foochow Association in Singapore on September 28, 2019.

In the main event of the evening, Nurshahidah “The Sniper” Roslie, 31, of Singapore will go head to head with undefeated boxer, Fan Yin, 22, of Chengdu, Sichuan, China, which is known by many to be the home to China’s cute giant pandas. They will compete for the vacant WBC Silver Female Super Bantamweight title.

Fan holds a perfect professional boxing record of 8 wins and 0 loss. Two of her victories came from technical knockouts and one from a split decision in a bout for the vacant World Boxing Organisation Asia Pacific Female Bantamweight Title against more experienced boxer Yuko Henzan, 21, of Okinawa, Japan.

To keep a perfect record, Fan may face her biggest obstacle yet in Roslie, the first female professional boxer in Singapore. The latter comes off a technical knockout victory over Thailand’s number one female boxer Siriphon Chanbuala, 26, in what was a very one-sided performance with the Singaporean boxer dominating the bout.

Holding a professional boxing record of 14 wins and 2 losses, with 11 of the wins coming from stoppages, Roslie is the number one ranked female boxer in Asia. She aims to be the most dominant force in the boxing scene so a win against an up and coming talent such as Fan would be vital to cement her legacy to be one of the best female boxers.

Whatever the result, fans can be sure to expect fireworks in the 10-round bout between Roslie and Fan “SFC 8: Renegades of Fight.” Early bird tickets are at $45 at Juggernaut Fight Club in Singapore and other partnering gyms from August 23, 2019 to September 28, 2019 and tickets will be sold at $50 at the door during fight night.

On the other hand, Ambunda has 26 wins and 2 losses. He is a former World Boxing Organization world champion and was a two-time IBO World champion.

“He was the former world champion and has beaten some top level guys,” Ridhwan said of Ambunda. “He lost twice and I am sure these losses against top level opponents have given him valuable lessons in the ring. He earned his titles but there are levels to this game.”

“I know he has the experience and he is confident in beating me but it doesn’t matter,” Ridhwan said of Ambunda. “I am not undermining him in any way, but my team and I truly believe we have what it takes to take him down.”
